Susan G. Komen invites you to join us for our African-American Health Equity Initiative Summit 2017. We are grateful for our Affiliates, partners, speakers, moderators, presenters and over 600 national and local community leaders who contributed to our 2015 - 2016 African-American Breast Cancer Disparities Roundtables, which served as an important “first step” in our national African-American Health Equity Initiative.

In 2016, with a $27 million grant from the Fund II Foundation, Komen launched a community-based initiative to reduce African-American breast cancer disparities by 25 percent in five years, starting in the 10 U.S. cities where the inequities are greatest. We cannot do this work alone and hope you will partner with us as we take an exciting step forward to achieve our goal.
